Chesterfield, UK and Durham, NC USA — November 22, 2021 —Konektio, makers of Industrial IoT (IIoT) software product, AssetMinder, announced today it has closed a significant revenue contract with a leading European industrial company.
The 3-year rolling contract will see Konektio’s AssetMinder product deployed globally across thousands of connected devices. AssetMinder will enable end customers to remotely monitor and manage the parameters of their production process.
Together with u-blox’s Thingstream IoT Service Delivery Platform, AssetMinder was selected as the end-to-end solution to enable legacy 2G hardware to become ‘IoT-ready’ and inform its status to the cloud. The existing architecture, that relied on emails being sent to record asset status, was to be retired and replaced with a new cloud-based, deterministic solution.
Konektio and u-blox’s complementary solution was selected to deliver this requirement due to their speed of deployment, scalability, and advanced system security.
The solution will be used as a retrofit on existing products but will also be available to use across all future connected product installations, providing the client with a future-proofed scalable solution.
